Each pack contains:

- 9 insulated ferrules. Either 2.5mm² (blue) or1.5mm² (red)

- Mastic tape (for indoor use, no heat gun needed)

- 3 lengths of heat shrink tubing (for outdoor, underground and underwater use)

Instruction HXA & HXB kits:

With this kit, you can assemble any joint reliably, quickly and cleanly. The kit provides two options:

•  For indoor use, and

•  For outdoor/underwater/underground use.

A. For indoor use:

1.To get started, crimp insulated ferrules on conductors and ensures that individual core colors match.

2. Remove wax paper, lay vinyl mastic lengthwise, with plastic on outside and squeeze until mastic has self-fused. Your joint is now ready for indoor use.

B. For outdoor/underground/underwater use:

1. Slide the heat shrink tubing over cable before preparing the joints. Crimp insulation ferrules on conductors and ensure that individual core colors match.

2. Remove wax paper, lay vinyl mastic lengthwise, with plastic on outside and squeeze until mastic has self-fused.

3. Slide heat shrink over tubing over the joints and ensure it is centered.

4. Use pencil torch or blow torch to shrink down. PLEASE SHRINK FROM THE MIDDLE OUTWARDS.

5. Now, the whole joint is waterproof and sealed safely by the heat shrink tubing.

1. Slide the heat shrink tubing over cable before preparing the joints.

2. Use insulation ferrules on conductors and ensure that individual core colors are matched. When using ordinary ferrules tape same.

3. Remove wax paper form mastic. Over cores, plastic on outer side.

4.Tape over conductors - i.e. mastic

5. Slide heat shrink over tubing over joints. Ensure it is properly centered.

6. Use pencil torch or blow torch.

7. Done! Quick & Easy
